Got to meet up with a friend of mine yesterday for brunch. The food was really delicious. I was too hungry so I regretfully didn’t get any pictures this time around. I would highly recommend the steak lunch special, any of their sandwiches I believe they come with a hearty side of soup (the one I had was sublime), & the chicken empanada (it’s made into a pie slice) I had was tasty as well. If you try their juices be forewarned that there are no added sweeteners. I had the passionfruit & was great but, it’s not your typical sugary/high fructose variety most of us in the US are used to. The market as well has a plethora of items I believe are directly from Brasil. Definitely pop in if you want to try a new spot in the outskirts of Downtown St Paul. Be forewarned that you may have a little difficulty ordering in English had to bust out my very rusty Espanol & try my hand at pronouncing Portuguese.

Amazing food, amazing staff. Sandwich of the day was incredible. Also loved the freshly baked cheese balls. Brought a friend from Brazil who spoke Portuguese and she felt right at home. We got extra sandwiches to go. We will be back!!

Fun little place, I'm not from Brazil but I could definitely feel the home feeling it gave those who are from Brazil. I enjoyed the food, different flavors, love the Guarana Soda. Will be back for sure

I love this place. Great place to stop for a sandwich and coffee. The staff is are all super nice. The sandwiches are good and very reasonably priced. I’m excited to go back and try some of their other offerings!

Que delicia!! o cafezinho me levou de volta a casa da minha vo Amazing little market and restaurant next to the river. The market has everything there is to miss from Brasil. The cafe is authentic as it gets, serving classic paderia items like misto quente and coxinha. Also they had this little oregano aeoli dip that was very tasty and clearly home made. Whether you miss Sao Paulo or Bahia this little outpost brings a piece of home to Minnesota.

Great Brazilian market and small restaurant in Minneapolis area. We brought our family here on our last visit and had a great experience. Charles and Julio and Juan provided us with excellent customer service and made us feel at home. There is a good variety of Brazilian groceries and good choices of snack foods and if you have time try lunch plates too. Highly recommend "coxinhas", the Brazilian chicken croquettes. Hope they have "hearts of palm" pastel and empadinhas in the future, as we will definitely visit again next time we are in Minneapolis/St Paul area.

What a great find! As a Brazilian living in the Twin Cities, any authentic place making delicious food from my home country is worth checking out. Well, this Cafe & Market was a delightful surprise. The food is excellent and I learned about chipa, which is close to the cheese bread recipe, but less cheesy. Both adorable, freshly made. The fried pastel was a perfect reminder of the food I had at the street markets. It was made to perfection. The coxinha and empadao were also sooo delicious. To complete the meal, we savored the light and tangy passion fruit mousse and the unbeatable brigadeiro, a chocolate treat. They make it soft inside and covered by a crunchy crust. Yummy yummy! We met Julio, Alisson, Rafa, Rudimar e Alexandra, who took very good care of us. Upon leaving the place, we also met Charles, the owner, and Simone, who makes the cakes and sweets. All staff was super nice and welcoming. Thanks, guys! We will be back.

50 out of 10! I don't know how us minnesotans got to be so lucky to have a real yummy Brazilian cafe! The owner is so friendly and eager to share, the large menu is perfect! Sitting right next to the river. I'm praying that the angels near and far protect this place and make it successful. The only problem i had was that I was too full yet wanted to eat more!
